Been a little over 3 months since I signed into my tilde account. Need to get back at this site and get things fixed.

Also, am I the only one here with a nice, expansive website instead of a blank page or a 2 page website? Send me a mail (mail thecomputergeek) if you have an account here if you have a fairly expansive site, because I'd like to see.

Haven't done a whole lot on the site itself. Mainly been catching up elsewhere around the tilde.club universe. Started using mosh because our Internet has been lagging recently because of an upload. Still not sure if I want to use sshfs to mount my home directory remotely or use mosh to edit the remote files. I've also considered using FTP to download the file I want to edit, edit it locally, and then upload the new copy over the old copy.

Finished up the page detailing why the website was down for so long. Also gave the construction page a much needed minor update. Also began adding 'Last Updated' stats to pages as I update/modify them.

2:30AM and I'm still working on this thing. Finished up the HP Pavilion a1000y pages! (Mostly, there's a couple left to do.) I've also taken the old HP Pavilion a1000y page offline permanently. Good riddance. Fixed some broken links on the main page for that computer.... and I think that's about it. More to come later. (yes, that was a direct quote from YouTuber UXWBill.) (That URL should still be valid because I just checked, unless YouTube has since chaged it's URL system in a major way, rendering it and many other links scattered around this website broken. If that happens, send me an email or straight up /wall me. (I'm assuming you have an account here.) Anyways, enough news-related rambling.

P.S. I need to make a thoughts dump page.

Completed the HP Pavillion a1000y System Specs page. I'll probably finish up the page detailing what it does and take a disk image of my main computer, ending today's website editing session.

Saturday, July 25, 2020

Updated a couple of pages in the HP Pavilion a1000y section to reflect OS and commissioning status changes. Also completed and linked up the page explaining what it does now. Also fixed some very minor typographical errors.

Started working on a thoughts dump page here.

Monday, July 27, 2020

Not very often do I make an update on this page itself.

Anyways, fixed a broken link from yesterday's news entry.

11:51 AM

Made the first entry to said page.

Also began documenting the approximate time at which news entries make their way in, so it doesn't look like a ton of news events blended together.

2:31 PM

Got the thoughts dump page linked up. Hmm.... what should I work on now? Maybe fluff out the dump page a bit more.

3:57 PM

Added an entry about ditching DirecTV and am going to start a page about the DirecTV dump experience.
